this week’s gluten-free life experience

With much anticipation the day for my lunch date with Dad and daughter was here. I made it just in time as they were at the counter ordering one of their large (only gluten-free option-arggg!) my daughter so excited for her pizza! I was also looking forward to it since it is one of the only spots close by we can all agree on. They have a delicious gluten free crust. It is slightly annoying that they will only serve large because usually only one member of the group or family requires a gluten free diet. Why not make an individual size only?! Maybe one day. However, on this day we were further disappointed when it was brought to our attention that the vegan cauliflower crust was the only option for us that day. Big Bummer!! My Dad says of course no problem man that will be great, thanks for helping us out. Meanwhile I look over at my daughter and can’t help but notice her face washed over with disappointment. It’s the little things right? Like being able to enjoy pizza with family.
